The South Dakota Emergency Medical Technicians’ Association (SDEMTA) District VI is dedicated to promoting better communication between all EMS personnel and the communities we serve. National Emergency Medical Services Week or “EMS Week” 2012 will be held on May 20th – May 26th.
The official theme for EMS Week 2012 is EMS: More Than A Job. A Calling. EMS has made the commitment to be there for you and your community. This week, please think about how you can be there for EMS. Perhaps your establishment could post recognition for local EMS during the week. In the past, some have also offered specials or discounts for EMS personnel and/or their families during EMS week or even year round.
